Structuring Prenatal Visits

For many new doulas it can be difficult to think about how to condense a world's amount of knowledge into a few 1-2 hour sessions with an expecting couple. How do you educate you clients without them feeling like they're in a lecture hall? What information can we leave out? What information is pertinent? What if I forget to tell them something? How can I teach them all they need to know in so little time??? In this course you will learn how to plan out your prenatal visits with your clients; how to organize information for a seamless transition between meetings; how to educate without overwhelming; and how to adapt to your client's specific needs.
